27 Things About Me

  1. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  2. Since childhood I have been captivated by the athletic bodies I saw in movies, comics, and wrestling heroes.

  3. Whenever I drew a man I made him with a V-shaped back, a magnificent set of biceps, ripped abs, and wide shoulders.

  4. Sylvester Stallone made a tremendous impact on me when I saw Rocky and Rambo as a teenager. To date he is my number one inspiration and Fitness idol.

  5. Early on I was interested in Boxing as a sport: Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Tommy Hearns were and still are my idols in this sport.

  6. I have always been very fond of practicing various sports, but I was 24 years old before I began methodically training with weights to develop my body and running to improve my athletic ability.

  7. I trained in boxing with Sergio Victor Palma, an Argentine former-Super Bantamweight World Champion.

  8. From that moment on I became fascinated with Fitness and took it as a way of life.

  9. Since 2012 I have formally worked as a Personal Trainer in Mexico City, primarily on a one-to-one basis.

  10. I have lived in Mexico City since 2002.

  11. I am a Bachelor of Administration and Marketing Specialist.

  12. I trained for years at a moderate level. However upon reaching the age of 40 in 2006 I fell in love once again with intense training. 

  13. In 2012 I discovered and became fascinated by Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and the UFC.

  14. Georges St-Pierre is one of the greatest champions in UFC history. He has been an inspiration for me in the practice of martial arts and High Intensity Conditioning (HIIT), which in turn has transformed the way in which I train. 

  15. In 2018 I discovered CrossFit on amateur level and CrossFit Games super athletes, among them Rich Fronning, Mat Fraser, Josh Bridges, Cole Sager, Jacob Heppner, Noah Ohlsen, Sara Sigmundsdottir, Annie Thorisdottir, Tia-Clair Toomey and Katrin Davidsdottir.

  16. I was intrigued by the concepts and variety of CrossFit. I started to apply it to my own training, fell in love with the discipline, and today it is a fundamental part of my training.

  17. I share a loving and happy home with my wife Miry and my 2 daughters: Carolina and Victoria.  

  18. I am fascinated by felines; that's why I have 6 cats in my house.

  19. I wasn't always in great physical shape.

  20. I have never used drugs or steroids.

  21. My favorite place to train is in the backyard of my house.

  22. I really like Italian-Argentine food, barbecue, pasta, and good desserts. 

  23. I'm a fan of Boca Juniors in soccer, and the Denver Broncos in the NFL.

  24. I love nature, the Caribbean Sea, and outdoor life.

  25. My favorite music is Rock, Hard Rock, and Heavy Metal.

  26. I am very interested in cinema, television series, and good reading.

  27. Already 50 years young, I feel absolutely full and with much to do.
